Overview

Anhydrous ethanol is ethanol with water removed to a very low residual level, which lets it blend with gasoline without phase separation. It is the grade used as a gasoline oxygenate and octane booster in blending programmes worldwide.

Both Grupo Bazan units distil anhydrous ethanol from sugarcane and are authorized to export ethanol to the United States. Specifications and volumes are confirmed per contract.
