One group, two units
Two Pontal mills, a single export desk
Usina Bazan and Usina Bela Vista are neighbouring sugar-and-ethanol mills in Pontal, in the heart of São Paulo's cane belt. Presented together as Grupo Bazan, they give buyers a single point of contact backed by two production sites and complementary capacity.
Both units crush sugarcane into raw and crystal sugar and distil anhydrous and hydrated ethanol, and both generate bioelectricity from bagasse for the domestic grid. Bazan runs at around 35,000 bags/day and Bela Vista at around 40,000 bags/day of crystal sugar.
